Families with a critically ill child often face expenses they never could have planned for—costs that extend far beyond medical care.
Medications not covered by provincial or private insurance, essential rehabilitative therapies, mental-health and trauma services, sibling childcare, travel to and from hospital, and accommodations during extended stays can quickly become overwhelming.
These financial pressures compound an already devastating experience, leaving families feeling isolated and stretched beyond capacity.
The Sarah Tapley Foundation exists to help lift these burdens. We provide direct support for many of the costs associated with childhood critical illness, helping families navigate this season with dignity, stability, and support.
